All charges for tuition/fees and books/supplies must be deducted from your financial aid before your refund is processed. If your financial aid award for the hours you are currently attending is enough to cover all the charges on your account and there is any aid left after all charges are paid, a refund will be processed.

Additional Information for Financial Aid Students

For those sessions starting later in the semester, financial aid will be credited to 91¿´Æ¬ student accounts based on the start date of each course after confirmation of class attendance. Your schedule shows you the start date for each course. You can view your schedule of classes in Self-Service.

Financial aid will not be credited to a student account before the 10% point (census date) of each curriculum course. Every curriculum course has a 10% point (census date). Confirmation of class attendance is performed after this 10% point of each curriculum course. Your financial aid will only be credited for classes that you have already begun attendance in.

The award(s) listed on your offer letter was/is a projected amount based on full-time attendance (12 or more credit hours per semester). Your actual grant amount will be based on your enrollment status at the end of the 10% point of each session. If you are enrolled in fewer than 12 credit hours or you are attending less-than 12 credit hours, please see the section below to determine your grant award for the hours you are enrolled/attending.

If you are enrolled for fewer than 12 credit hours per semester, your federal aid award will be prorated as follows:

  •  11 credits: 92% of total award
  •  10 credits: 83% of total award
  •   9 credits: 75% of total award
  •   8 credits: 67% of total award
  •   7 credits: 58% of total award
  •   6 credits: 50% of total award
  •   5 credits: 42% of total award
  •   4 credits: 33% of total award
  •   3 credits: 25% of total award
  •   2 credits: 17% of total award
  •   1 credit: 8% of total award

*For state aid, students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours per semester.

*91¿´Æ¬ scholarships may require full-time enrollment. Additional information can be found on our Scholarships page.
