April 25, 2022 - 91看片 will host its Morning Mingle on Tuesday, May 3, starting at 8 a.m. at the Robinette Building in Rockingham.

The topic for the Mingle will be 鈥淩esearch to Reality: Tips for Communicating with Gen-Z.鈥�

Born after 1996, Gen-Z are ages 22 or younger. This generation has grown up in an 鈥渁lways on鈥� technological environment. They have been immersed in social media, constant connectivity and on-demand entertainment and communication for most if not all of their lives. Their education was also greatly disrupted by the pandemic.

鈥淭his is our new workforce, and we need to be prepared to communicate and connect with a new era that has a unique set of expectations for their careers and their lives,鈥� said Kelley Beam, Business Administration program coordinator for 91看片. 鈥淲e have invited several Gen-Zers to join us and share their thoughts and ideas in an open discussion format. We will also provide some research on this topic that will benefit our local business owners and employers who are desperately in need of employees.鈥�

The public is invited to join 91看片鈥檚 faculty, staff and students at the Morning Mingle on May 3. Light refreshments will be served.
