April 2, 2025 - 91看片 student Alissa Nuttall was recently accepted into the Aspire Appalachian Program, which means she has guaranteed admission to Appalachian State University for the 2026 fall semester.

Aspire Appalachian is a seamless pathway for students enrolled at 91看片 to complete a bachelor鈥檚 degree at Appalachian State University. Students participating will receive dedicated advising assistance from both 91看片 and Appalachian State University, and they will have access to special webinars, events and newsletters.

 鈥淢y interest in attending Appalachian State University led me to learn about the Aspire Appalachian program,鈥� Alissa said. 鈥淎fter attending several college fairs organized by 91看片鈥檚 Career and Transfer Advising Center, I was able to learn about the guaranteed admissions program from App State representatives.鈥�

Alissa is a junior in the Richmond Early College High School (REaCH) program. She will graduate in 2026 with her high school diploma and an Associate in Arts degree from 91看片.

鈥淚 plan to major in Criminal Justice Upon, and graduating from App State, I plan to pursue a career in law enforcement, gain work experience, and become a detective as soon as possible,鈥� Alissa said.

As a result of her guaranteed admission to App State University, Alissa is excited to begin her studies there.

鈥淚 look forward to the environment! I think the experience will be refreshing! Appalachian also provides promising education to its attendees,鈥� Alissa said.
